Denis Villeneuve continues his unmatched mastery in worldbuilding with transfixing visual style, colossal technical work & powerhouse ensemble. Dune 2 felt so religious on large screen. Transcendental in many aspects and so persistent be it Hans Zimmers rousing score, Greig Fraser's eye-popping visuals.
Timothee Chalamet in final act fucking rules, he exudes the real star power. Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson & Austin Butler are equally amazing.
With all the grandeur, dense drama and act Dune 2 outclassed its first part in of scale & epicness but also subsides at times, could be a conscious decision about the form to compliment the Frank Herbert's novel nevertheless, can't really wait for the holy war to begin. This has to be experienced on the giant movie screen possible, no remorse.
CINEMATIC SALVATION.
Long live cinema! Long live Denis Villeneuve!
