Dune Part Two is the epitome of modern science fiction filmmaking.

This is the kind of film that will give birth to a new generation of Sci-Fi fan, turn Sci-Fi naysayers into Sci-Fi believers & make Sci-Fi purists reach nirvana.

This film is a masterpiece and masterclass in blockbuster filmmaking. Denis Villeneuve has cemented himself as one of the most meticulous directors working today. He does not miss. Paired with an elite cinematographer in Greig Fraser, legendary composer in Hans Zimmer & the upper echelon of performers in this ensemble cast makes this the Golden State Warriors of filmmaking. Unfair near perfection. 

No punches are pulled here. Not only does this elevate the first Dune but it evokes the epics like, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Gladiator, Game of Thrones & Lawrence of Arabia etc. Its grand scale set pieces are complimented beautifully with its story/theme of the cautionary tales of mixing faith, religion and politics. False prophets indeed. 

Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha has become my permanent personality for the foreseeable future. Truly one of my favorite movie villains in a long time, very Frieza-esque performance. Himothee Chalamet elevates his star power to another level & should garner best lead actor recognition. Zendaya is the heart of the film and steals every scene. LOVED Javier Bardem. Jessica Ferguson the freak that you are. The entire ensemble is brilliant. It truly feels like time has stopped and we’re all bearing witness to a moment in filmmaking history that will be talked about for generations.
