Ridley Scott has always been a master at scale and immersion. But this, for me, was a pleasant surprise. Some would say Gladiator is his best piece (not me) and the legacy it left never needed the risk of being tarnished. However, this slapped. There will be no world where one can compare this to the first, but Mescal, Pascal, Washington and everyone delivers pretty damn well on performances. The soundtrack was also excellent considering it wasn’t Zimmer this time…

That was f*cking great. I watched this in 4DX and I feel like an Xenomorph crawled inside of my ass. I didn’t go into 2024 thinking we’d get a faithful yet modern Alien film, yet here we are. Andy was maybe the most interesting robot character I’ve seen in years. The practical effects and gore elements are more than impressive. Cinematography was great, I can’t wait to watch this at home on the Blu-Ray. They really nailed the futuristic look…
