A technical and logistical achievement considering the small budget, and some great performances all around. Other than that, it felt like another modern epic with many ideas and not much to say. Christopher Nolan for the art house crowd, an empty spectacle with a bombastic score and enough beauty to fill the frame without knowing what to do with it. ittedly I was on board for the first half in a big way, but unfortunately the film did not end at intermission. Loved the title designs!
