Seen back-to-back with “A Field Guide to the Ferns”, organised by The Machine That Kills Bad People

I’ve been hoping for a directorial debut from Olivia Bee ever since I found her blog when I was a teenager! This was full of emotion and charm. Themes from her photography such as dreams, nostalgia, longing, Americana were all aspects I appreciated in this debut. Her work lends itself well to cinema with warm, beautiful shots on film - the colours pop in a subtle way. I hope she will continue down this avenue
