]]>A Must Watch Documentary which speaks nothing but truth, A mandatory watch for Everyone who knows that facts are always facts
]]>It is a Experience That I will Never Forget, I'm Pink Floyd Fan for More than a decade Now and now finally when I experienced Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII on the Big Screen with Dolby 7.1 surround sound, it became truly a experience of a life time, it was just magnificent, forget about today's cheap pop music and everything, this what I call Music and Rock N' Roll at its purest and highest form, it was just amazing. I love Pink Floyd 🩷, Long live Rock N' Roll
]]>A very beautiful, sublime, subtle and gorgeous film, I loved it. And yes it's very Honest and bare to the bone film and it depicted caste based violence in India and how patriarchy is making this country more sick each day and how LGBTQIA+ lives are shattered and oppressed in the name of religion and caste, I'm very happy that the director of the film openly depicted these things without sugarcoating anything and it's a film about love and it's like a cold breeze of winter, it's very good and beautiful and we mustn't forget that love is love and love has no gender we are free to love whoever we want to love 💕
PS - All kinds of Censorship in India must end now and CBFC should be completely abolished for their moral policing Victorian Fascist Patriarchal approch towards everything, there shouldn't be any kind of Censorship of any art form anywhere in the whole world

]]>2nd Time Viewing in a Theatre and it feels Awesome ❤️, One of My Absolute Favorites by Ray 🩷
]]>Watched the Brand New 4K Restored Version of Sonar Kella on the Big Screen and it looks absolutely fantastic, This is for the first time I experienced Satyajit Ray's Sonar Kella on the Big Screen and it was truly unforgettable, I loved every bit, it was truly an unforgettable experience, I will cherish it all my life, go see 4K Restored Version of Sonar Kella aka The Golden Fortress on the Big Screen Now
]]>2nd Time watch in a Theatre and this time in a huge screen and it looked Mesmerizing and Magically Fantastic ❤️, Truly the Finest Existentialist Indian Film Ever Made, Kudos to Satyajit Ray ❤️
]]>A Masterpiece 🕊️, Go see it now. The Most Important Film on Calcutta after Satyajit Ray's Calcutta Trilogy. Aditya Vikram Sengupta is the Finest and Best Filmmaker in Bengal right now and for Me he's My favourite Bengali and Indian Filmmaker right now, Mayanagar is heartbreaking, painful, it gave me an stomach ache and to be honest after reaching home I'm unable to talk properly or do my household works. This film changed me as a person, and I must say it's beautiful, absolutely gorgeously beautiful and it's fantastic ❤️, Gökhan Tiryaki's Cinematography is mesmerizing and he captured Calcutta as it is, it's hypnotic. I will never ever forget this experience in My whole life, and also even after such bleak and heartbreaking portrayals of life in the Neo liberalised Calcutta, Aditya Vikram Sengupta didn't forgot to depict humor in this film, he's truly a great Filmmaker we needed for such a long period of time now and I'm glad and happy that we have him now. The film portrays struggles of ordinary Bengali people, their ambition and how their ambition corrupts them in this neo liberalised economy, the city of joy slowly becoming a city where people are more concerned about money and properties, where we have high speed 5G internet while we're getting away from each other far and far away, everybody is isolated in this 21st century in the name of individual freedom while we seek companionship with someone we could connect with but it seems impossible because we don't trust each other anymore. It's the new disease of 21st Century bought with Coca cola and Pepsi cans with carbohydrates, sugar, potato chips, ott platforms and lot of pain with unheard screams of the oppressed. A City that survives, while millions of lives are in the brink of collapse, where people have no certainty of what will happen next, it's truly a Mayanagar (City of illusions) and yes there are illusions with some amount of reality, as Bertolt Brecht said that in reality only a fragment carries the mark of authenticity and I don't know maybe Aditya Vikram Sengupta knows it too, so he portrayed city of illusions so magically that we forget what is reality and what's not, we stay hypnotized and paralyzed after the film ends, the film shows us how broken we are in this century right now, we must heal ourselves, there's still time.

]]>An Absolute Masterpiece, Best and Finest Adaptation of Valmiki's Ramayana, Yugo Sako, Ram Mohan and Koichi Sasaki created a timeless classic film which will exist as long as human civilization exists on this planet, it's pure cinema, it's a work of Art ❤️, It's just marvelous ❤️
]]>It's a Masterpiece ❤️, Thank you so much Luca Guadagnino for Making a film like this in these harsh times when Queerphobia is rising again, thank you so much for making such a beautiful film ❤️ and Queer (2024) is easily one of the best love stories ever depicted on the Big screen (although I didn't saw it on the Big Screen and I really wish to watch on the Big Screen one day), it's just hypnotic and it's so so beautiful that it took my breath away ❤️, it's a masterpiece ❤️ Luca Guadagnino's finest film until now ❤️
]]>Nosferatu by Robert Eggers is Sublimely Beautiful, Painfully Horrifying and Absolutely Romantic, it's a very good film on every aspect and this is the cruelest Nosferatu ever depicted on the celluloid, Bill Skarsgård's performance is mind-blowing, I'm not going to compare it with Max Schreck or Klaus Kinski because They're the greatest, Bill Skarsgård doesn't stand a chance infront of them, but he's acting as a 34 year old is very good, can't call it great at all but yes it's very good, Lily Rose Depp's Performance was a showstopper and her acting here is superb, She's going to be the next big star of Hollywood and Her acting here is flawless and I must say it's truly a magnificent and great performance and Everyone did great acting from Nicholas Hoult to Willem Dafoe to Ralph Ineson and Aaron Taylor Johnson with Emma Corrin everyone was amazing, Cinematography was mind-blowing with wonderful match cuttings, after a long time I experienced so many great match cuttings in a film, Nosferatu is definitely a film that should and must be experienced on the Big Screen, it's a delight ❤️

]]>An Absolute Masterpiece. It was a pure delight. This film is a feast for the eyes and mind. Definitely not a film for everyone. It's only for hardcore cerebral Cinephiles, easily one of the greatest film's ever made and one of the best by Peter Greenaway ❤️
]]>A Beautiful Documentary on the Maestro ❤️
]]>Mediocre! There's nothing new in it, This film is getting hyped in India right now because it won Grand Prix at Cannes Film Festival 2024. Seriously quality of Cannes jury has Terribly declined. I've seen way better film's than this in the past I can give examples like Mahanagar by Ray or in recent times Asha Jaoar Majhe and Once Upon a Time in Calcutta by Aditya Vikram Sengupta, In recent times Aditya Vikram Sengupta did something new, which we never saw on bengali or Indian cinema. Payal Kapadia is still continuing that FTII parallel cinema garbage, which is a old rotten propagandist film movement, I detest it completely. It is hilarious that someone like Jodorowsky didn't even got nomination for Palme d'or in recent times and this year Payal Kapadia, a amature young filmmaker got nominated and won the award so easily! Jodorowsky's Endless Poetry easily deserved a Palme d'or or Grand Prix in Cannes 2016, although I Daniel Blake is a Masterpiece and Ken Loach also deserved his second Palme d'or at Cannes 2016. But nowadays Cannes is giving Their Film Awards to many garbage film's, All We Imagine as Light is one of those extremely mediocre film's, which don't deserved Grand Prix or any award at Cannes, It was boring and it was a complete let down. In 2018 even Lars von Trier's The House that Jack Built was screened at Cannes but in Out of Competition catagory! Now imagine the hypocrisy of Cannes, one of the greatest living filmmaker's film is getting Screened at Cannes in Out of Competition catagory while a Amature filmmaker like Payal Kapadia's film is getting Grand Prix! It's the fault of the jury led by Greta Gerwig, 2024 jury was the worst Cannes Film Festival jury ever, The House that Jack Built is already a Cult classic, in future everyone will forget All We Imagine as Light but Von Trier and Jodorowsky's film's will live on because Payal Kapadia doesn't have the guts or authenticity to make Masterpieces like them till now (don't know about the future but Maybe in future she will make a good film, let's see what happens) but right now I'm officially saying that All We Imagine as Light was a complete let down and waste of time for me at the cinema's, not at all recommended.
]]>Ridley Scott Mesmerized Me Once Again ❤️
I Saw Ridley Scott's Gladiator II yesterday and once again he proved that why he's one of the greatest filmmakers of all time and why he's truly a living legend in the world of cinema. I know that many historians are saying that the many things depicted in Scott's Gladiator II was historically wrong but even after that one cannot deny that it looked spectacular even if many things depicted in the film was historically wrong, even with historically wrong depictions in Gladiator II, it looks great and epic. I had a great time watching it, it's not easy to watch epic film's like this on the Big screen today because they're rarely made now, I was hooked on to my seat from the beginning to the end when I saw it, it was a great cinematic experience I will never forget. At 86 years of age Ridley Scott made another epic, while people of my generation is lamenting and claiming they're too old in their 20s and 30s! Anyways Gladiator II must be experienced on the Big Screen, this film cannot be appreciated if one watches it on phone or even in a home theatre, this is the kind of Film that must be experienced on the biggest screen possible and an epic like this cannot be experienced fully without watching it on the biggest screen and good sound technology, best way to watch it is definitely Watching it on IMAX. The only little problem I had with Gladiator II was the VFX of sharks in the beginning but then it was alright. I became a Paul Mescal fan when I saw Aftersun and now Paul Mescal once again proved that why he such a versatile, talented and one of the best actors of his generation. Pedro Pascal's acting was really good, Connie Nielsen was okay and Denzel Washington was flawless as usual, he's portrayal of Macrinus will be ed for a long time, Denzel Washington once again proved that why he's one of the living legends of Hollywood. The version I saw here in India was partially Censored Because the film was distributed here by Viacom 18 studios and to gain an UA (Parental Guidance) rating in India, they did cuts in the film, which I do not and yes it was unnecessary, but of course Viacom 18 studios wanted to get bigger amounts of audience with the UA certificate that's why they did it but otherwise with an A (Adults Only Certificate) film would've been uncut for sure but surprisingly CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification or Indian Censor Board) did some minor cuts in the film despite giving it a Parental Guidance rating! It was really surprising, some graphic scenes were cut while many scenes of graphic vi*o*le*nce was completely intact, even some non sexualised breast nudity was intact in the film, which I feel is great because yes it's high time now to end this draconian conservative Censorship india follows since it's Independence in 1947. Anyways Even after Minor Censorship and historically wrong depictions I loved Ridley Scott's Epic. I will Gladiator II all my life, I loved Gladiator II way more than I loved Dune Part 2 and if I compare Gladiator II with epicness of Dune 2, Gladiator II is definitely way ahead of Dune Part 2 and Villeneuve has go a long way to achieve Scott's level of greatness. Gladiator II is definitely one of 2024's Best Films. In the end I will say as Film Critic Peter Bradshaw said that "We are entertained" and yes we are definitely thrillingly entertained by the New Ridley Scott film and I will eagerly wait for his next film and I hope the next film will be a great film like most of his film's.
PS - We must end Censorship here now completely, because I want a India where I can watch Nagisa Oshima's In the Realm of the Senses in a Theatre uncut, approved by Film Ratings Board (not the censor board because as I said Censorship should be abolished completely). Although watching In the Realm of the Senses Uncut in theatres of india is possible but only in indian film festivals! Not during theatrical release! It's ironic that in Government organized film festivals of India one can watch film's like Love (2015) to Nymphomaniac (2013) uncut in a theatre but the same government's Censor Board will impose Censorship on these film's if they're released theatrically! It's absolute hypocrisy and it must end, Censorship is against free speech and freedom of expression, so yes Censorship must be abolished. Bengali Filmmakers like Goutam Ghosh is saying it for a long period of time that it's high time now to Abolish Film Censor Board in India and we should have a Film Ratings Board instead of having a Censor Board
