Maybe it’s just me, but I think this was the most visually stunning movie I’ve ever seen. Just incredible. Blows the doors off of part 1. I really can’t pick a favorite part because of how great the climax is, but the Giedi Prime sequence for Feyd’s birthday was also so visually awesome too. It definitely takes it time building up in the first half,  but honestly wish we had 10 more minutes with the huge battlefield, I don’t care how long it is already. Everybody was perfect in their performances besides maybe Walken. I was indifferent on Chalamet prior to this, but this movie has 100% sold me on him, his screen presence towards the end was impressive. Austin Butler far exceeded any type of expectations, and even though brief, his chemistry with Lea Seydoux was great too. I’m really ready to dive into the lore. It’s only February, but I know I’m not going to see a better movie than this the rest of the year.
