The Man Who Feels No Pain

2018

★★½ Watched

Its like watching old film in new camera with sensible dialogues and action scenes which had sense of understanding physics. Dialogue delivery and its timing is exemplary. Comedy at right times and expressions while delivery it was enough for good laugh. Main negative aspect about this film is that it doesn't have strong plot to manage the whole story and its uneven and irrational scenes got me annoyed. It sure doesn't attract audience but it sure is a decent one but should have done good job on story.

Arun Matheswaran is a type of director whose filmography needs to be learn. He using his significant storytelling into the art of cinematography. I love when cinematography and storytelling speaks more than scripts. Definitely a feather in the cap of Keerthy Suresh. Kudos to the cinematographer and editor they're as equally important as Keerthy Suresh.

After watching this movie Wish all the Victims can fulfil their revenge instead of depending on the Police lawyers and Judges. So crimes will come…

Before mayaanadhi the last time I saw a realistic love story in malayalam was Annayum Rasoolum. Tovino, aishwarya and rest of the cast performed their roles well but the real show stealer is soubin who proves that for an actor only one scene and no dialogues are enough to strike an impact among audience. Climax leaves a lump on your throat. You feel like a fresh air coming slowly on your face while watching mayaanadhi. Maayanadhi is Aashiq Abu's best work till date.

Most of the people of India r not understand this kind of movies. They don't have that kind of view which can see the reality of content. It starts off with a lot of Humor, but as the Movie progresses it just go darker and darker. It will make you laugh but at the same time also make you angry about the Social Injustices. I feels the touch of "Parasite" and "slumdog millionaire" at same time in very grounded way.

The Storytelling and Characterizations are pretty good, a Must See Movie for me.
