A tech journalist who used to write about/review movies for newspapers and Tom's Hardware/Tom's Games a long time ago...

Fascinating morality tale about a man who wants to do the right and just thing but will only go *this* far and no farther to achieve that outcome. And when the responsibility is ultimately laid squarely in his lap, he methodically convinces himself it's a threat to existence. Excellent late-career work from Eastwood and maybe the best performance of Nicholas Hoult's career.
You can watch "Hit Man" as a funny yet overt critique of actors as slightly crazy, borderline psychotic individuals who are constantly in throes of deep identity crises. Or you can watch it as a fun caper with two insanely hot, charismatic leads giving the performances of their careers (to this point, of course).
