ittedly I'm not a huge fan of this franchise, and while it has been a while since I've seen most of them I just never really had a love for the series. Thankfully this is definitely one of the better ones, I enjoyed myself! I had issues and things I wish were different, but at the end of the day the quality isn't important, I got to see my good friend Tony Todd one last time. He gets a very touching send off, got a little misty eyed.

Very messy and oddly edited/paced at times, and the flashbacks are EGREGIOUS, you can tell the studio had their yucky prints all over this, but damn, it's very fun. I was cheering for Tom Cruise every time he did a big run. I teared up at the end, so that counts for something.

Saw this in a mostly packed cinema, by the time the third act started half of the room was in love with the film and the other half were getting increasingly more frustrated with it, good stuff as always Mr. Shyamalan.
