wannabe renaissance man

unnerving but beautifully and responsibly created. incredibly fascinated with the creative decisions behind the making of this show but, more importantly, in awe of stephen graham's stellar acting performance more than anything. it was really important to portray that it is not always children belonging to abusive households and absent parents that can commit such crimes.
crucial to note what graham said in an interview, "the internet is as much of a parent as the parents of a child, in today's world."

for me the highlight of the movie was when setsuko is devastated cause her beloved fireflies have died:
“why do fireflies die so soon?”
*the camera pans to the siblings’ dead mother’s ashes*
the movie is sprinkled with sever dialogues that will successfully tug at your heartstrings, but the last ten minutes are especially heartbreaking.
