Longmont Potion Castle is one of the funniest people going, and I've been a fan of his work since the mid '00s. I bought a copy of Where in the Hell is the Lavender House? blind on the assumption that I'd love it.

It seems like this documentary is trying to operate in the absurdist spirit of LPC's own work, but that aspect felt staged and forced, and mostly left me cold. I don't know whether the behind-the-scenes stuff is…
