A Clockwork Orange

1971

★★★★ Watched

(edit more than five years later): watched this during very weird times, on my way back from Brussels during days where everything was straying to close, including schools which were now closed for the next week (or so we thought). My train had gotten cancelled and instead of taking the one the next day, I took a much earlier one. When I arrived at the station my dad was here to pick me up. He told me we were leaving the next day to my mom and my sister so we could all be quarantine together.

Intolerable Cruelty

2003

Watched

“She’s rich! And I love her! No need to kill her”

“I said I wouldn’t whilst I wasn’t which implies no promise once I am”

I will never be able to watch the Gilmore Girls Friday nights dinners the same way

Love Hurts

★★ 5

Who the fuck names a villain “Knuckles”?!!!

the score is great which only made this more disappointing
The film tries way too hard to push the story, the characters and the romance on you without giving you any time to start caring for them
And unfortunately for a valentine’s movie, the romance is really not believable

I did have great laughs though, even if not necessarily for the intended reasons.

(absolutely perfect runtime though)

The Monkey

★★★★ Liked Watched

the daddy issues are showing on this one…

hilarious, original, well shot, well written, features a cameo from Legally Blonde icon Osgood Perkins (and director I guess), what else could you want?
Haven’t laughted this hard in a while!!!
