Nolan is a lot like Shakespeare. I mean this in the sense that I once heard someone speak on the way Shakespeare’s works have had an overall negative cultural influence. He’s taught in schools as the epitome of prose and academic value, most notably because his writing style is distinctly very very English. His works and his legacy, intentionally or not, reinforce values as to what proficient and high-level writing…
