Can't think of a male psycho-biddy like at all so that switch up keeps this interesting, obviously the doll is cool looking and the three leads are great, particularly George Henare, and John Lithgow is absolutely terrifying but jesus it's meandering, could easily shave off 20 minutes. Still props for the disorienting dread ambience that's present throughout.

Some fun occult imagery and Boris is always sexy and does the best with what he's given but the way he was so disrespected by these roles in his later years ugh it's like genuinely angering to me. The impeccable performances he gave for decades of film and directors just wrote in these shitty parts where he's just a talking head in their horribly made horror films for their own gain, giving him nothing to do because they don't know how to use someone who is physically limited, it's awful!!!
