*SPOILERS*

Where to begin. This film was very similar to the Flash film. Both were attempts to “save” a universe through many many many cameos.

Now the Flash fell very short of this mark. It had a weak plot derived from perfect source material. Weak cameos and a bit of a mess of a story.

D+W however was pretty much the same. Most cameos were weak however there were some great nods and homages. Should out to Channing for nailing gambit and shout out to blade for being blade.

I believe that films deliberately put into slow mo so that fans can scream and clap always end up being awkward on rewatch (mcu spider man 3 - terrible rewatch very awkward). 

The strength in this film wasn’t its cameos or its plot though, it was the sheer joy in seeing Deadpool and Wolverine stab and rinse each other for 3 hours while some TVA guards and extras also got stabbed.

Lots of jokes, some didn’t really land, but most did. If Marvel can save themselves by not taking themselves too seriously then the world will be better for it.
