I don't when I watched this but I do it was certainly something

I couldn't really tell if this was 5-6 mini-series episodes stitched together to form a movie, but all I can say is that this movie failed to reach the same sort of peaks that its predecessor did. Introducing a bunch of characters that don't get enough time to breathe and grow within the narrative but are put in simply so they can say "see this adventure is different, Moana's got new friends!" is weak and it makes me sad. Hey, maybe they just needed to make some money so they could do something ambitious, creative, and groundbreaking! (Checks releases for Disney) oh no...
