Dune: Part Two

After many years I've seen a movie that took a heavy positive inspo from Islam. (Thanks Frank Herbert)

That Silence! scene in presence of the Reverend mother is permanently etched in my mind. Pure goosebumps stuff. Bro started walking funny too or it's an effect ig.
Btw Ferguson can be my Reverend mommy anytime.

Paul:I'll love you till my last breath
Also Paul after seeing Pugh: Wed me Princess Irulan🀣.

Bruh did Chani dirty. After all, he listened to his mother in some way haha
I was quite confused by the twist it seemed quiet and outta nowhere.

The Last Duel, Arena sequence,War Cry scene, Worm Riding Sequence Okoka shot wallpaper worthy 🟠. Even tho they showed it in the sneak peak that riding scene looked way spectacular now. Really Dune well. Btw how awesome are those close-up shots? After Bob the only significant one in recent times maybe. Geidi Prime part was so spectacular for the first time i really felt like real showcase of an authentic alien world. Those plasma fireworks too 🀀

Man!! Sound Systems were made for Hans Zimmer to put his masterpieces in it and make us mere mortals listen to them and cherish them.

Fuck, How stupid I looked in the theatre waiting for a post-credit scene in front of the cleaning staff lol. I even begged my friends to stop till the end.
Btw I loved the editor who edited out the seggs scenes.

I Thank God for delaying this movie which in turn made a clear path for Oppy to go get it all. (It wouldn't have made a difference anyway😈)

But the only nitpick I had with it was that Paul got the throne handed to him very easily like on a golden plate it seemed done so easily in such a small amount of time. Major villains killed off left and right very quickly after a very long buildup. For Rautha played by Austin Butler tho it was hyped up for nothing he actually needed more screentime.Lea role was so minute that i couldn't even see her face properly.

I probably expected a lot more upfront to-the-point sequel but it got dragged much(not disappointed by it tho as it's required coz he's adapting it has a two-part novel) for possible future additions or installments in the Dune Universe.

All I say is just leave everything you are doing and experience it on the nearest largest screen with the best sound system possible.

Denis Villeneuve was the Lisan al Ghaib of Cinema all along. Glad that he heard the criticisms/comments on the first installment and made the sequel to sur it moreover making it reach near the pinnacle of sci-fi movies. I thought it wasn't possible to put Dune as it was on the silver screen. He's literally on a Make Peak Scifi movies speedrun.

Probably this generation's Empire Strikes Back. (I stand by this)
Which says Dune>>Star Wars saga imo. They made few changes from the novel for the movie to streamline properly. This intrigued me very much and i probably will buy the novels to read em all.

Anyways,
Stilgar in
Dune 1 😠
Dune 2 Lisan al Ghaib πŸ₯°

Looks like Khaleja+ Bahubali or Kalki 2898 and even Eren Yeager too🀣

4.85/5 ( it'll really grow on me to 5 )
