Rewatch: Terrible Film, Magical SRK.
]]>nahi yar
]]>Very powerful. Very very well written and filmed.
]]>Guys abuse me for watching this film
]]>I want to stand at the top of the world and scream MAAAAADS MIKKKKELSEN!!!
What I'd not give to write something great like this.
]]>Is it that easy to look away from horror? Be indifferent.
Perhaps, when you are the demon yourself.
Does a better job of sensationalising Bin Laden than criminalising him.
]]>serious film bc
]]>I can understand why Aamir was so upset by the Filmfare snub.
]]>Started reading the books and I’ll rewatch as I go.
]]>Rewatched this classic after a decade.
It proved, most classics remain classics.
The vanilla flavour of the movies
]]>"Looks like we're shy one horse."
"You brought two too many."
]]>Fkin love it
]]>Wonders
]]>Cant say disguise masks in 2020s dont put me off
]]>For the longest time I kept thinking “mazel tov” means congratulations
]]>Bhadwe ab aisi film kyon nahi banate?
]]>Nuts
]]>“You’re not in there.
You’re here.”
Watched The Bridges of Madison County couple weeks ago and that film had my most favourite last shot ever. If this one hasn’t toppled it already, it’s certainly the second best and certainly the more creative. This film ripped me apart.
]]>Whats wrong with this film?
A really promising story. A fine screenplay. Fine visual direction. But some of the most horrible bg score of all time.
And whats worse?
I am enjoying most of the scenes without score and finally starting to feel something : BAM : in comes the most horrible score to ruin it completely.
Immature scoring.
]]>Guru Dutt’s use of songs may be some of the most intelligent and meaningful ever.
]]>Some of the best narrative to musical transitions ever.
]]>Tested my patience here and there …… but not bad.
]]>Lost in lost in translation
]]>Deliciously
]]>This epic film eluded me for so long!!!!!!
Steven you absolute boss.
]]>Had a blast watching and loved that performance from Broadbent.
]]>They could have done the blood and that green sticky thing a whole lot better to make the experience better.
Nevertheless, a classic of its own kind.
]]>Near perfect
]]>music
]]>Anthony Hopkins would have made it a 5 star film for me. The actors didn’t add anything to this otherwise great film.
]]>What are you trying to do Abhishek Bachchan?
]]>That could be my favourite last shot of a film ever. (Ashes being thrown off the Bridge)
]]>Top of the shelf.
]]>Invaluable classic
]]>I feel so sunken, so gutted.
That was a great performance from Celia Johnson.
The more I watch Pitt in his old movies, the more I think that Pitt “the actor” is lost a little.
]]>The amount of “imagination” in one film is more than annual calenders of film industries nowadays.
]]>Do cab drivers in US just drive off when you tell them you dont have money?
]]>Mads will drive me crazy someday
]]>But “A Complete Unknown” is the Best Picture to me.
]]>All 20 stars out of 5.
]]>Watched on Thursday March 6, 2025.
]]>Read the novel by Tarantino and rewatched the film later.
Ain’t no one more funny than Quentin Tarantino the writer, and aint nothing more cinematic than DiCaprio crying on screen (refer to the scene where Rick Dalton cries in his trailer after embarrassing himself by forgetting his lines)
]]>James Mangold cooked another Film of the Year and gave Timothee his best film ever.
]]>You know its mad when this Guy Pearce performance is the 2nd best in the film. Or is it?
But the film itself kind of falls in the 2nd half.
]]>Directed by Magic Ratnam!
]]>Prettist movie OAT
]]>Watched on Friday February 14, 2025.
