In my humble opinion, it's just another mediocre movie.

But as always: to each his own.

Like Knives Out, this whodunit film is so much fun to watch.

Well, just go see it for yourself. You'll love it. Believe me, you really will.

Simple horror film with lots of cliches and even more "things you wouldn't normally do if it weren't a horror film" action.

That said, it is entertaining enough, despite the sometimes poor acting.
With a mediocre first part and a better second part, it ended up being a film that is worth watching.

And after all, it's the Halloween season. New horror films like this are a part of that and that's fine .... I can live with that.
