What a vibe-lord David Lynch was

He got me into ‘art house’ films and helped develop my appreciation of movies deeper

This film specifically is WTF at its finest and then some. Sadistically horrific at moments and emotionally overwhelming at others.

Leland Palmer freaks me the fuck out

Sheryl Lee puts on a stellar performance that makes you wish we had more of her in the original Twin Peaks series

I wanted to rewatch something of his on the day…

The creativity and child like wonder of this film is spectacular

I knew way less about this than I thought I did, which was nice

That eyeball hand creature is truly terrifying, way more in action than in pictures

I also had no idea that more than half this movie is about a fascist regime versus a civilian rebellion

The fascist are just are scary as the fairytale creatures….actually wait they’re worse cause they’re real

Dick Johnson Is Dead

There are moments that feel like this is the closest thing to a YouTube video getting into The Criterion Collection.

There’s really good emotional stuff in this though and anyone who has dealt with losing an elderly loved one, especially with Alzheimers, will feel the raw moments even more.

Heaven Can Wait

Early technicolor wonder with funny gags and jokes that mostly still hold up.

Would be a good double feature with A Matter of Life and Death.

Very charming and cozy feeling, plus I love the stitch work title cards. Grandpapa is a real homie.

I can see how on rewatches all the characters and timeline jumping will be easier to understand.

Always , “Keep a stiff upper lip!”

I love the colors and mamba soundtrack.

The melodramatic storyline was just ok though…until the mother grabbed the two guns that is. Then it was at least a fun ending.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

I like this movie and James Spader kills every scene he’s in.
