A satire on the Blair Witch Project phenomenon in 1999. Its kinda fuckin amazing and I mean that. I’m surprised it hasn’t gotten the same amount of appreciation Halloween III has gotten over time but I understand that 00’s cheesy metal horror isn’t for everyone (I eat that shit up though). I already can’t wait to rewatch this

I’m not quick to call a movie horrifying but this one always gets under my skin, pun intended. Grizzly and disgusting with hardly a drop of blood shown. Encapsulates the southern underbelly really well, albeit in the most unsubtle ways possible but that’s why we love it. 
Great reflection of the political landscape of the early 70s if you choose to view it that way.  
Also loooooooove the eerie sound design and imagery of rot and decay. You can…
