holy fucking shit

One of the most emotionally fulfilling anime experiences I have ever had. It’s an ideal snapshot into the life of creatives, albeit in a romanticized way, but also sticks to the theme of holding on to friends/the ones you love. An ode to artists, and people who love manga and anime. Humanity in moving frames, and still frames.
Perfect doesn’t even begin to describe it.
This definitely was not what I was expecting, and after bracing myself with other ‘teen crime’ movies in mind, this came as a surprise, and felt different from the rest. Can’t say I really side with the overwhelmingly positive or negative diasporas of this movie, but I did enjoy it. I’ll first get the negative out of the way.
