Before I start I wanna make clear that this review contains NO spoilers for the entire movie, so no worries about that.

So I just got done with watching my most anticipated movie of the year, heck even my most anticipated movie of the decade (thus far). Tbh these were 2 of the best hours of my live, it was literally PERFECT. I literally can’t think of any negatives rn, I’ll try to find something but it probably isn’t gonna happen. What I AM gonna talk about is every fucking fantastic thing that this movie has, and it’s gonna be a very very long list to get through.

To start things off, Ryan Reynolds is better than ever as Deadpool. I fucking LOVE this man and this character so much and he once again is incredibly hilarious. The fourth wall breaking is so damn good and it once again makes for some excellent jokes. And if you were doubtful about the Fox to Disney transfer, I can tell you that you have nothing to worry about cause there isn’t a single fucking moment were I felt like they were holding back. There is so many brutal stuff and there are SO many brutal jokes, trust me it’s incredible.

The other huge leading star of the movie is of course the unbelievable Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Every single second he got was truly a gift to my eyes, I love love love this man and I love him in this role. He is still absolutely perfect, and now with the yellow suit it’s 10 times better even. Oh and just like Wade, Logan wasn’t really holding back in brutality either… If you liked the R rated Wolverine in Logan you’re gonna LOVE him in this movie, I can confirm that he’s a fucking beast.

Many people always say that Marvel’s writing and plot usually isn’t that great ( I disagree ), but I’m pretty sure those people don’t dare to open their mouths now. While this movie might not be Oscar-level writing, I found it to be an unbelievably fun adventure without a single boring or unnecessary second. It’s just such an incredibly fun ride and I genuinely think that the writing and plot was great. Ofc I don’t want to spoil things but there are some certain scenes, especially near the end, where I genuinely fucking loved and appreciated everything I saw. And I’m pretty sure that not only nerds like me will do, but also regular movie watchers.

Something that I think many people want to hear my opinion about is the cameos and fan-service. It’s gonna be hard to talk about this without spoiling anything but I’m gonna do my best. First I gotta say that my expectations were high, like really high, but man I gotta be honest they somehow SURED it. The fan-service in this movie is truly from another fucking level, there are so so many scenes where I almost jumped out of my seat bc of excitement, there is some INCREDIBLE stuff in here. Let’s just say that they perfectly make use of the multiverse and everything, in the best ways possible. So yes, this movie has A LOT to offer for the nerds. There are certain things in here that just kinda teared me up bc of how beautiful everything was that I saw on the screen. It’s a fantastic ride with some excellent cameos and perfect fan-service.

Now I just shortly want to talk about a few other great things about this. The soundtrack is absolutely AMAZING, there are some incredible bangers and needle drops in here that almost made me levitate. Ofc the soundtrack has already released but I still won’t talk about their scenes bc of potential spoilers. I do have to say that there is one scene in the third act that gave me complete goosebumps and (again) teared me up, an unbelievably good needle drop makes for one of the movie’s best scenes, I won’t say more. Another awesome thing about this movie is that it knows when it needs to be serious, while there isn’t a lot of it, when it does happen it’s actually fantastic. This movie surprisingly actually had a great message and some very deel topics, and yes I cried during this. It’s just a perfect combination of humor and seriousness and I really love it for that. Finally I quickly want to mention the credits of this movie bc they might be my favorite from the entire MCU, again I won’t spoil anything but wow. Such a fantastic moments with complete goosebumps, it was absolutely beautiful to watch, sadly I can’t say much more.

I have one tiny tiny complain but it really isn’t that big. The cgi looked a little bit off in a few scenes, I can’t really explain the context bc of (once again) spoilers but it just was a bit weird. There also were some wonderful shots and most of the times it looked amazing, I can just already tell you that the marvel haters are gonna complain about this just for the sake of hating, but let’s just let them do their stupid thing.

So I really tried to do my best and make an as-good-as-possible SPOILER FREE review bc many people asked me to. I’m probably still forgetting a lot of stuff but it’s fine, bc this surely won’t be the last time I watch and review this movie. I already have a full review written WITH spoilers so I’ll log that on my rewatch soon, but for now I did what I could.

Like I said my expectations were ginormous for this movie but somehow the incredible trio of Ryan, Hugh and Shawn was able to sur them. I know this movie isn’t perfect but to me it means THE WORLD, I’m an incredible big nerd and Marvel-fan and bc of that this was a true dream-coming-true. Some people might call it recency-bias, some people might call it overhyping, I’d just like to call it a FUCKING MASTERPIECE. My Deadpool & Wolverine experience was perfect and couldn’t have been better, tonight was a true core memory. Everyone, please please please watch this movie in theaters now, it’s genuinely incredible and imo, Marvel at its absolute best. To me Deadpool & Wolverine is a 5/5 movie that comes damn close to perfection. I fucking love this and every single thing about it, truly speechless.
