It's hard to choose the best Tarantino film but if you asked me I would probably go for this one.
I like the idea that the entire plot takes place in one isolated small hut, in the middle of nowhere, with all this snow surrounding them. It builds up perfectly cozy vibe which I think is ideal for this type of mystery film.

Scorsese stepped out of his comfort zone a bit for this film, but it worked really well because he delivered an absolute banger.
This is definitely not a classic plot twist film that you watch only once and forget about it and where the entire film quality is based on that plot twist at the end. Shutter Island is far beyond that, it will make you watch it again, again and again... and every time you watch it something new…
