This is pretty much perfect as far as comedies go. There's the occasional scene that's a bit iffy, but this holds up marvellously for the most part, and maybe works better now than it ever has; the gender play is so goofy and farcical in the best way possible (as it should be).

I've seen this so many times it would be immoral to give it anything less than a 4. So weird and unique, and I feel like this was foundational to my sense of humour when I was a kid. Also way more nicely shot than it has any right to be.
I love that this has a climax in Guelph, what other movie even takes place in Guelph.

Way more fun and charming than it has any right being. It's the only thing in the world I would ever describe as "white trash at its best", but I always enjoy watching this. It oozes 70's in both the best and worst ways, but I couldn't hate this if I wanted to

Colonel Gondo dubbed by Rik Thomas is just the best. The english dub for this is very nostalgic

Watched the first 45 minutes. The elevator/basement scene was good, it gave me Magnus Archives vibes, but everything else was just fine, but unscary and forgettable

This is a movie that's always fun to watch. It's well paced, has great action throughout, Geoffrey Rush gives every single line 110% energy, and it's such a fun time
