I watching the trailer and thinking this looked so beautiful and colorful and that the score was so good. I didn't know what the movie would be about but I knew I had to see it. Saw this at a theater with my mom when I was 11, and that was when I fell in love with movies. It was also the first time I crying in a theater. It was when Chiron was conversing with his mom at the end. Seen this movie so many times, and it just stays perfect

can totally see why tarantino really loves this move and tbh, he would’ve made it a bit better

was expecting it to be a lil more gory and crazy but it wasn’t 

i also watched the english audio version of this, because i couldn’t watch the original Japanese, and it did not help.
