Weaker than the first part and somewhat compromised by changing the plot and events in the book.  I think the effects of spice was not as omnipresent and his sister’s presence as well as birth/actions were more or less removed.  The transport between planets was completely deleted yet a key aspect in the novel.  Ok. Sure. The director’s privilege! The film was well done but did not carry the weight of its predecessor.
