A big budget is not necessary to craft an exiting and thrilling film, and Souce Code is recent proof. While it sure has its plot holes and moments of dubious logic, the good overshadows its flaws as the screenplay makes for quite a good time. Watching the story develop with little expository dialogue feels refreshing, and it gets the suspense right throughout the film even with the plot's repetitive nature. While the ending is quite awful, that's a minor complaint to a film that offers so much in the scale of brainy entertainment.
