Genuinely a flawless film in my opinion. Every scene is so beautiful and the character arcs feel so real and satisfying. The emotional scenes evoke emotion (good thing), and the amount of funny scenes that actually land is crazy. Top tier Wes Anderson, top tier filmmaking.

Sharp dialogue and great music elevates this from being just an okay drama. The pacing is a bit weird, but that didn't really bother me this time around as much as it usually does. Eminem is great, which is a surprise, but the standout performance comes from Kim Basinger, she really brought the character to life.

I the first time watching this I was on a hut on an island with my friend and we watched it in this old boathouse. Truly an unforgettable experience.
No this movie isn't perfect. If I actually cared to rate it properly it would be a 4/5 for me, but this film just hits so freaking hard and even though its carried by nostalgia a bit it still rules.
