a new look into the nuances of human relationships & self destruction, with franz rogowski's insufferable character in the center of it all
it has an intriguing premise but i personally didn't feel any kind of connection to the film in an emotional level, performances from all three of the main cast were still the highlight of it though.

really enjoyed the 30-something-minute long romcom fishing that was going on and the extremely predictable yet delicious twist the film take us through once that title card dropped.
daisy edgar jones and sebastian stan are really entertaining to watch in here. i also liked how the camera was used to keep the tension throughout the runtime.

i mean yeah this adaption obviously has some laughably terrible issues from the editing, to the pacing, to the makeup... but you also just can't help but get chills all over your body anytime that hauntingly mesmerizing melody of overture/phantom of the opera starts playing.
