Loved this from the start. The cinematography and soundtrack pull you in right away. It doesn’t force anything—just lets the story flow, with tension that slowly builds in such a fluid, natural way. The humor works, too, without ever feeling out of place.

The dynamic between the two leads gave me Lost in Translation vibes—quiet tension, unspoken connection. It left me thinking about how we might all have that one true soulmate… but sometimes we settle, and wonder what if?

The Substance captivated me with its stunning cinematography, heavily influenced by The Shining. The storytelling felt like a mix of Black Mirror and The Twilight Zone, with a gripping mystery that reminded me of a ‘90s film. Demi Moore went full-on for this role—I truly believe it’s Oscar-worthy. She and Margaret Qualley delivered terrific performances, making the experience even more immersive.

Dennis Quaid also does a fantastic job as the sleazy studio executive, adding humor and depth to the film. I love when a movie stays with me long after the credits roll.🍿🍿🍿
