Nataniel Escobedo’s review published on Letterboxd:
One more viewing in theaters
Unfortunately, this second viewing did not change my initial opinion.
While I did garner slightly more enjoyment from this second viewing to maybe raise my score by one, I will not be doing so as I can not get past the weak storytelling of this film.
Once more phenomenal cinematography and Hans Zimmer nails the score with the cast doing their part.
Unfortunately, these things do not redeem this average adaption of Frank Herbert's great novel.
