saw this in a screen full of people laughing their holes off at each death so this obvs just wasn’t made for me

my prefrontal cortex is way too developed to enjoy a film with the sole purpose of constant silly gore

extra disappointing as I loveeeed longlegs </3

enjoyable watch if you’re a fan of musical biopics, lego & pharrell (which I am)

I know the ending was intended to be hopeful & somewhat uplifting but personally I found it to be absolutely soul-destroying

even so, a beautiful exploration of the accidental cruelty of families
