Just a hilarious and uncompromising comedy by Isaac Lee Greenblatt, who, from what I’ve seen, has great range as a director—ranging from his documentary DESCONOCIDA, which I found amazing, to something much more fun and free-flowing in HOG WATCHERS. The performances fit well, and the dialogue is truly hilarious at many points, while also underscoring an important theme and topic.

As for some minor : it’s mostly about general framing and blocking—there were a few moments where characters’ shoulders covered…

Nothing except dollar store nihilism, and high school cliches is what this movie should be called, because that is literally what it is. I just listened to this podcast with Wesley Wang talking about making this film into a feature, and when he mentioned he still hasn’t finished the script because his producers don’t like it does not surprise me.
