Not taking credit for this idea, I think I read it or heard it earlier today. But it’s just so incredible how this script makes fun of the religious extremism letting it linger around like harmless fun until it gets out of hand and consumes everything. I just think there’s a lot of power in that concept not just with religion but anything.
Anyways this thing bangs so hard, I mean that opening with the Harkonnen floating down slowly against the red background. Just breathtaking stuff.
