Nolan’s review published on Letterboxd:
Just imagine how good this movie would have been if Baz Luhrmann made it. Instead we just got Bad Luhrmann 😔.
But in all seriousness I respect the creativity of this and I think all the pieces for a good movie are there it’s just executed rather poorly. The speed of this movie mixed with the bloated and confusing plot made it feel constantly as if I was missing scenes that weren’t there. This did remind that there’s some Beatles docs I’ve really been meaning to watch, they rock.
