One of the better sequels made to date, came close to a 5/5 for me but as much as I loved it; I feel it’s a strong 4.5 as I prefer to reserve 5 for a very few amount of movies.
Stronger pacing than the first, excellent story telling and execution. Similar to the first movie, the visuals were sensational; especially during the black moon lighting - great touch.
I do see how it can be hard for non “fantasy lovers” to fully grasp / appreciate it as so much information is thrown at you in Part One and Part Two.. add in a fictitious language and obscure names.. it’s easy to understand why some may not appreciate it. It had similar vibes to Game of Thrones Season 1, specifically in Part One. You likely need to buy in to the world to fully enjoy it.
