Bradley Hill’s review published on Letterboxd:
Denis really fucking did it. So much of the soul of the book is on screen it’s crazy.
I may have my nerd quibbles about scenes that got cut but it’s honestly hard to imagine a better adaptation of this behemoth of a story.
This has got to be Timothee’s career best, but also Austin Butler really blew me away with how much menace he brought to the role.
And omg Lea Seydoux and Anya Taylor Joy showing up ruled. And Florence Pugh omg. All the best girls in Hollywood were cast it’s crazy.
Can’t wait to rewatch this a million times. Glad I got to experience this with my Dune nerd Dad. I hope they make Messiah.
