Objectively not a very good movie but i love the music in it and Claire Danes and New York so I’m once again giving it a half star more than it deserves even though it has about six incoherent plots.

Somewhere between 3.5 and 4 for me, not as good as his last (one of the best specials ever) but still delivering on the physicality and writing style that makes him so charming. Some fun editing too! And quite a beautiful last couple minutes, sans comedy. Maybe my first 'favorite' comedian (since watching Repertoire in like 2018/19), always such a joy to get new material from him.

Endlessly heartwarming and charming flick with some hard hitting lines and a fun little plot. Brought me back to watching Marcel years and years ago with family friends, thinking he was the funniest, cutest thing in the whole world. He sorta still is. Go see it!!

Kinda like when I deleted all the Kanye songs from my playlists.

Edit: this article just convinced me that this is a five star film (or like a 4.75)
