This is SO tough to recommend because about halfway through you really start to feel its runtime. The fundamentals are solid, but I just got bored of the plot eventually and that's such a crime. I want to give it more leeway but I just don't feel like it earns 3 whole hours of my time.

I think it's the best you'll ever get out of a movie based on a toy doll! It's not a very smart movie, and honestly I sort of think they should have just stayed in Barbie World because I didn't find any of the real world characters interesting or compelling.
