Every time I watch media where something scary or terrible is happening in an extreme manner I don’t understand why no one opts to k*ll themselves. 

I really liked the atmosphere of the beginning of the movie. 

I’ve never seen the Alien movies except for Alien vs Predator for some reason so I’m beginning a journey of watching them all.

I loved how unrestrained this movie was. It wasn’t afraid to be fun and funny and dynamic while still taking its horror and historical context seriously. It was beautiful, touching, horny, tense, and genuinely and generously awesome.

Sometimes it’s nice to watch a movie that is ridiculously stupid and fun. Sometimes it’s important to to say fuck off and not feel guilty. Above all what I gained from this movie is a deep desire to have Robert Pattinson always play a weird guy with a weird voice and to never be cast as a sexyman again.

Saw it when it came out and didn’t care because I was an idiot. Watched it recently and loved it. I love when horror is mixed with fantasy/folklore/whatever and isn’t just in someone’s head or just some guy doing something fucked up.
