Redux first watch

I was deeply saddened to hear of the ing of such a cinematic giant today in David Lynch. It’s difficult to put into words how much of an impact his films have had on me and I don’t know whether I’m capable of summing up such a man in a paragraph, let alone an essay. Rest easy legend.

At a complete loss of words. A mammoth epic that deals with topics still relevant to this day. DiCaprio, De Niro and Gladstone at an all time high, whilst Scorsese keeps you completely engaged no matter where you are in the film. The haunting final monologue, the beat of the drums and the chanting of the Osage will forever be sunk into my heart. One of the best and most important films of the 21st century.
