This week's challenge gave me the opportunity to finally watch Source Code and as far as i'm concerned any reason to watch a Jake Gyllenhaal film is a damn good one. I'd heard loads of mutuals say that this was very underrated and they were definitely right, a 3.4 average in extremely harsh, I could give this a 4.5 at a later date I thought it was that good.

Source Code is an intense action, mystery thriller with an awesome twisty plot which is revealed perfectly in my opinion and has a killer ending all compacted into less than 90 minutes that really kept me on the edge of my seat. This is a proper underrated gem of a film, an emotional and physical thrill ride start to finish, Gyllenhaal is of course fantastic (when is getting a damn oscar) I thought he had really great chemistry with Michelle Monaghan who is herself great with her limited screen time and the production was top notch as well.

Deserves more love, like a lot more love! I think there is something for everyone hidden here. You want comedy? the dialogue is witty and had me laughing, you want romance? This has tons of rom/com elements, you want action? of course this has loads and it's all brilliant, or maybe you just want to look at Jake Gyllenhaal handsome face for 90 mins, guess what Source Code has it. In short, give it a watch.
