A true oddity in the Disney Canon. Featuring studio-mandated animated segments that feel so disconnected from the main story of a young boy trying to raise a rambunctious lamb, So Dear to My Heart would almost certainly do better without them. The Eastern answer to Indiana Jones, Magnificent Warriors is about as dense as an action movie can be. A brisk 92 minutes filled to the brim with WW2 era gunplay, martial arts and Hollywood-esque spectacle, all with an adventurous spirit to it.
