Can’t wait to see it all. Malick vibing on seeing the man in nature instead of the other way around is a welcome change. More time jumps than The Last Dance but it blends so seamlessly who cares. Just all beautiful. All things shining as the man said before.
rewatched twice in a row and the second time i took notes LMAO. here's what i wrote:
• this is just one gal's opinion, but cutting "cities" out and leaving "swamp" in was crazy work
• jerry harrison's shoes look at times like his bare feet and it always takes me out

rewatched in imax!!!! physically could not keep still!!! so many little moments and cuts that i'm obsessed with at this point... watching my vhs tape a lot has deepened my appreciation for it, but seeing it in a packed house felt so electric and joyful. this is kinda what life is all about

I saw Buddy Guy in concert the following night after seeing this. He walked through the crowd and played his Stratocaster as everyone was taking pics and video with their phones. That was technically a much more satisfying 3D concert experience.
Immersive, chaotic, raw, brutal, intense, anxiety inducing and one of the most realistic depictions of modern combat I’ve ever seen. It is a technical marvel. Once it gets going, it does not stop to let you catch your breath for a second! Seeing this in IMAX almost made me out
