Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.

This movie is largely accurate to reality, but it's not without a few fictional elements put in to keep the movie exciting. The most blatant example was the inclusion of the "Johnny Cash" character - I mean seriously, how do they expect us to believe there's a real guy with a name like that?
I was more into this the second time around, now that I knew not to expect anything too mind-bending from Mr. Lynch. It was a very exciting screening too, since Mary Sweeney was there to watch it with us! She came up to the front of the theater afterwards to answer some questions, and it was definitely interesting to get some insight on the production of The Straight Story.
