On the positive side, this wealth of archival Burroughs footage, mostly from a secret stash owned by Genesis P-Orridge (of Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV fame) along with interview segments from the then-contemporaneous early 1980’s (including his appearance on a 1981 episode of SNL) is priceless. Nothing beats letting Burroughs’ sonorous and lilting voice numb you into state of drugged submissiveness. I could listen to this guy for eternity.
