How long did Wendell Pierce vamp before realizing nobody was coming to his emergency hearing?

My only gripe with this movie is I don’t think a sister would ever betray a sibling like that…but I don’t have brothers so what do I know. Other than that it’s a PERFECT movie and everyone should see it ♥️

When this movie started with a discussion on what Crazy Rich Asians meant for Asian representation going forward I thought "damn...so cool that we're not just getting representation, but an analysis on what that representation means." And then! The movie proceeds to have so many more nuanced discussions about identity, dating dynamics, film, and art! It's not the strongest narrative movie, but I'm thrilled to have a movie that openly discusses topics I've only discussed within Asian communities :)
