it was very funny how the much deserved hate boner for trump came into play in the most petty way possible when the ending of the movie involves dramatic liposuction, juxtaposed with the memorial of a man who died of AIDS.

pretty good doc. clark gregg is really great here in his re-enactments and it feels like watching a one man play sometimes. i do not like how it feels very definitive in the guilt of bruce edward ivans, and how it frames his mental illness as a sign that he commit acts of terrorism that were very politically charged it seems. or in its lack of mentioning of how the anthrax attacks were used to bolster in the war on terror.

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!! the cinematography has it all, really great lighting and some badass shots that have the perfect blend of dramatic flair and comedy. the new voice for wallace is great and you hear some subtle new things he does! everything is just really well done and i have to praise the all-around quality present in every facet.

Really funny and entertaining, and the vibes stay true to the first movie while bringing them to the new age of film. i hope tim burton stays this course because he could come back STRONG at this point.

Logan is such a fantastic film that feels like it was in the making ever since X-Men was first adapted into a movie. It was a long and confusing go for this whole series of movies, but it all beautifully culminated in this movie. It represents a real love for the character of Wolverine and transforms him from a decent yet inaccurate adaptation of the character, into a whole new version that stands on his own.
I cried at the well done emotional beats, and i couldn't stop but just feel so immersed at all the amazing cinematography and the energy this movie gives off. The worldbuilding in this movie seems like not only a well done building off point of the comics and the last movies, but of our own political world in the united states as well.
The performances from everybody involved are fantastic. Hugh Jackman kills it in his best go as Logan, Dafne Keen is a perfect Laura Kinney, and Patrick Stewart transforms Professor X into a version of himself not seen yet in either film, television or comics.
If you haven't seen this movie, watch it. It not only transcends the comic book film genre and stands out as one of the best, its a beautifully told story using characters that a rare few see the potential of, like James Mangold does.

this movie went from just being a horny ass movie, to being a horror about the fears of getting cucked, to finally reaching typical slasher territory, with cinematography thats very transparently trying way too hard to seem avant garde and smart. performances are alright. i dont get the hype about this movie really, its average at best.
